Position Overview:  

The Director of Admissions plays a pivotal role in shaping the future student body of Holy Names Academy.  The Director of Admissions works under the supervision of the Head of School and is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive admissions strategies, fostering relationships with prospective families, cultivating connections with middle schools and community organizations, creating outreach programs, and representing the school in the community.

The position is a full-time, year-round position.


Admissions Strategy & Planning:
Develop and execute an annual admissions plan aligned with the school’s mission, values, and strategic goals.

Analyze enrollment trends, market research, and competitive landscape to inform recruitment strategies.

Prospective Family Engagement:
Cultivate relationships with prospective families through school tours, open houses, information sessions, and other engagement/recruiting activities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from prospective families, providing information about the school’s programs, curriculum, and extracurricular activities.

Create experiences that are student-centered and engaging and highlight the benefits of the school.

Ability to relate to students and parents and foster a positive and respectful environment.

Application & Enrollment Process:
Oversee the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a positive experience for families.

Collaborate with the Academic Office for the organization of applications, school records, testing, and other administrative tasks related to enrollment.

Review and evaluate applications, make admissions decisions in collaboration with the admissions committee, and manage decision notification.

Plan and coordinate new student and family events and activities.

Marketing & Outreach:
Oversee Marketing and Admissions Associate and Marketing Committee.

Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop admissions materials, website content, and social media campaigns.

Represent the school at local, regional, and national admissions events, conferences, and fairs to promote the school and attract prospective families.

Oversee the Student Ambassador and Recruiter programs.


Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related field, preferably in an educational setting.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated leadership ability and strong project management skills.

Team player who can also thrive independently.

Experience with social media platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Available to work weekend and evening events.

Salary Range $85k-$110k.
