JOB OVERVIEW

Villa Academy is seeking qualified substitute teachers to be on call as needed during the 2022-23 school year.  We seek enthusiastic, creative, knowledgeable, and child-centered teachers.

A knowledge and love of students, desire to utilize Villa’s amazing outdoor campus, as part of the classroom experience, and willingness to work collaboratively with a grade level partner are desired qualities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

Valid Washington State Teacher certificate with appropriate endorsements
Successful elementary or middle school teaching experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Be adaptable: able to follow or change work plan based on needs of students
Able to climb stairs
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong student management skills
Ability to perform the job responsibilities of this position

COMPENSATION:

Full day (7.5 hours) $199.58
Half day (up to 4 hours) $106.44
Hourly $26.61
